Trying to know more about myself to develop a road map for personal and professional growth.

Self-reflection enables me to know about my weaknesses and areas of development so that I can improve my personal and professional skills. Reflection is a valuable lifelong training tool to improve personal growth by leading to self-realisation (Nicole & Dosser, 2016).

I have developed a Personal Development Plan after self-assessment.

According to Redmond & Dolan (2014), an efficient healthcare leader should be able to share ideas and influence others. Good presentation skills help the leader to share their ideas and motivate the team members to achieve the common goal.

According to Harris & Mayo (2018), healthcare leaders should focus on teamwork and partnership to improve patient care and health and wellbeing of the team members.

Ghiasvand et al. (2017) states that key to success in life is to focus on time management. Harris & Mayo (2018), argues that effective time management is the key for achieving both personal and professional success. By prioritising our tasks, by creating a plan that works for us, and eliminating distractions can increase our productivity, reduce stress and achieve our goals (Jackson, 2009).
