The last 10 weeks has been so insightful, and I have had to manage quite a number of hurdles and challenges as a newbie in a new course, in a new school, and in a new terrain. Honestly, sailing through unchartered waters has not been the easiest because you are not sure how it sails over here.
However, one thing has been made certain, I was not left alone to figure it out all by myself out at sea. I have been given the opportunity so people and systems to hold my hands, show me the ropes and teach me how to knot a bowline and definitely not the same person I was in week one.
In the last ten weeks I have found myself struggling with quite a number of things. The first for me was a change in system and learning style. Considering my background and where I am coming from, I realised that the learning experience the system’s expectation for me was different. I am super grateful for the induction and seminar classes as they have been super helpful in helping me find a resolution within.
In addition, time management and procrastination has been a struggle for me, it still is but at week ten it’s definitely better than it used to be. The personal development plan course has helped me a gret deal to put things into perspective and even though I am not there yet, I am definitely a work in progress.
