In my second semester, I identified poor time management as a significant weakness through my SWOT analysis. This weakness led to last-minute submissions and unnecessary stress, hindering my academic performance and overall well-being. To address this, I decided to take some CPD courses on LinkedIn Learning, specifically “Time Management Fundamentals” and “Efficient Time Management.” These courses provided me with practical tools and techniques for managing my time more effectively. I learnt how to prioritise tasks based on their importance and urgency, set realistic goals, and create a structured schedule to manage my workload efficiently. The concepts of time blocking and the Pomodoro Technique were particularly helpful, allowing me to focus on tasks without getting overwhelmed. As a result, I have noticed a significant improvement in my ability to manage my academic and personal responsibilities. I now complete assignments well before their deadlines, allowing me to review and refine my work, which has led to better grades and reduced stress. Additionally, I have more time to engage in extracurricular activities and hobbies, contributing to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Recognising the positive impact of these courses, I plan to pursue additional certificates in prioritising your task and Five Ways to Control Your Time . Continued learning in these areas will help me stay on top of my commitments and maintain a high level of efficiency in both my academic and professional endeavours.
