What?<\/strong> Students ask Copilot to simulate a scenario (such as a job interview) and specify which role it should play.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? <\/strong>Role-plays help students apply their theoretical knowledge to a \u2018real-world\u2019 situation, and give them room to make mistakes with a safety net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> <\/strong>Decide what scenario you want to role-play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Go to Copilot (office.com\/chat)<\/a> and sign in with your Coventry account. If you\u2019re already using Copilot, just select the \u2018New chat\u2019 button at the top right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Start the conversation by copying and pasting the following prompt into Copilot. Change the parts in [square brackets] to make it relevant to your chosen scenario, then select the \u2018Submit\u2019 button (the arrow at the bottom-right):\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give short responses and only provide the information I ask for. Use [colloquial British English]. Don\u2019t [use medical terminology]. Only play [the patient\u2019s] role. Don\u2019t play [the physiotherapist] role and don\u2019t ask how you can help me. To begin, say \u2018I\u2019m ready to start the role-play\u2019 and wait for my response.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: <\/strong>Continue the role-play. Wrap it up whenever you\u2019re ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
