Hi, I’m Farzana. I am a Graphic Designer and currently I am working as a Middleweight Designer.
My company’s name is Relatively Good and my role is to define the direct-to-consumer output of our in-house fashion brands.
Here are my tasks:
I work on a wide range of projects, including email marketing, e-commerce, advertising, packaging, photography, socials and seasonal lookbooks for multiple brands in menswear, womenswear and accessories. I can do this role because I have knowledge in creative vision, and an understanding of the luxury fashion market.
Our brands cover a range of demographics, so I need to be able to switch up my style to create assets that align with each brand voice.
Our Brands include:
– Japanese-Made Vintage Americana Menswear Reproduction
– Sustainable, gender-neutral garments Made in England
– Affordable Luxury Bags, Wallets and homewares for the US market
Today is Monday, one of my working days. I wake up at 6:00am in the morning then I get ready for my work and do my breakfast. At 7:30am I leave my home and get to the work by car. I start my work at 8:00am but I need to be there 10/15 minutes early for getting ready my working stuff.
At the begging I start to make my “to do list” of the day, where I used to write down my tasks or meetings of the entire day.
After fixing everything, I start to check the emails and creating original assets to appeal to an audience of over 50,000 subscribers. During my work I like to have coffee to make me stay awake. I have a team meeting with my colleagues regarding the work to have some updates, we used to do this to inform each other so that no one missed important points.
Today I have to work on design brand collateral such as labels, packaging, and stationery for an agency.
I am going to do some video editing as well.
My day finish after doing these tasks and finally I finish at 17:00pm. Before finishing I take some notes of the remaining tasks so that I can continue to do on the next day.
