leadership style

in one of my session during my masters journey we were taught different leadership styles. Tansformational leadership is a leadership style that inspires and motivates followers to achieve exceptional performance beyond their expectations. Leaders in this model focus on elevating the aspirations of their team, encouraging innovation, and fostering a shared vision (Bass & Riggio, 2006).

Servant leadership emphasizes the leader’s commitment to serving their team members’ needs and promoting their growth and development. It involves putting the team’s interests first, empowering them to succeed, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment (Greenleaf, 1977).

Situational leadership theory suggests that effective leadership varies based on the situation and the development level of followers. Leaders must adapt their leadership style, ranging from directing and coaching to supporting and delegating, to meet the unique needs of their team members (Hersey & Blanchard, 1988).
