During my initial two semesters at university, I faced substantial challenges and personal growth. Initially, I grappled with uncertainty and self-doubt, but as time passed, I engaged in self-reflection to pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses. This journey was marked by a rollercoaster of emotions, ranging from overwhelming uncertainty to increasing confidence, fueled by positive feedback.
Through this process, my time management and critical thinking skills notably improved, drawing praise from my professors. I excelled in critical comprehension and rigorous research analysis but was advised to enhance comparative aspects and ensure better alignment with the course context for further advancement.
Upon introspection, I’ve learned that seeking and applying feedback significantly bolstered my academic performance and self-assurance.
To address these growth areas, I’ve devised a SMART action plan. This plan entails dedicating time to extensive research, integrating comparative elements, and aligning coursework with the course’s context. I will closely monitor the depth of my research, the inclusion of comparative elements, and contextual alignment in my coursework. This goal is attainable through proper time allocation in my schedule and highly relevant to my academic and personal objectives, which revolve around improving academic performance and leadership skills. I have set specific deadlines to complete research enhancements and commit to engaging consistently in CPD activities over the next five months.
