Why Bangalore?

Bangalore is the best urban city in India. There are a lot of cultures and heritage to explore. It is called the Silicon Valley of India (the IT hub). Bangalore has developed for businesses, entertainment, education, and technology. People visit the city to enjoy the nightlife in rock shows, cuisines, and cafes and explore the architecture.

How?

Bangalore attracts some fascinating cultures with a rich history. I intend to showcase the diversity from heritage to nature through the website and social media.

Design Problem

  1. The logo ‘Bangalore‘ focused on the letters B and U in red. Partly used the typography mixture of English and South-Indian Language called Kannada. The logo was inspired by “I am Amerstadam” The Bangalore city brand Represents the welcoming character of the city.
  2. The other reason is that the city has Low awareness. Bangalore needs recognition of the potential for the urge to travel internationally.
  3. Furthermore, understanding need is the primary goal. The need to comprehend the tourists’ interests and concerns about Bangalore as a destination to ensure they are aligned and communicate well.

Nomenclature

In Bangalore, they worship elephants. My logo represents the friendliness and strength associated with the elephant. The elephant represents prosperity, good luck, and protection from the evil eye.

The logic behind the design

To associate with Bangalore’s culture and remind the audience that the city is not only for the IT hub, business, and technology. It is for the heritage of the metropolis and the culture they seek.

Typography

I chose the Typography for the city logo to be Goudy Old Style Bold to associate the city with a beautifully curved serif typeface that derives classic, historical, and traditions. From my perspective, the typeface for the tagline should look less cluttered. I have used Nirmala UI Regular for the catchphrase. For the website and Ad copy, I have applied the typeface Calibri.

Brand Colour with its meaning

Brand color evokes emotions and other elements. And it is one of the attributes of Visual communication. I have used Brown Gradient for the background and applied solid colors such as beige for the typeface and vice versa. The color of the brand represents stability and comfort. I got inspiration from the temple’s color palette.

Campaign Idea

Bangalore is the best urban city in India. It is known as the Silicon Valley of India. The idea is to rebrand the city to perceive its heritage, culture, and nature.

Brand In Use

As I see it, the typography color influences the image. It creates a composition and relates to visual communication. Here I have designed Bangalore’s Advertisement Copies. We will discover Bangalore through travel bloggers’ reviews, compelling pictures, and updates on when to travel.

Brand In-Use Website

I got inspired by the Travel frog poster from Behance. So, let’s Escape. Explore. Go beyond on my website.
