SWOT analysis is a technique developed at (Stanford in 1970), frequently used in strategic planning. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) refers to the ongoing and planned learning and development process that professionals engage in to enhance their skills and proficiency throughout their career.

In the context of my MSc Global Healthcare Management course, engaging in CPD activities and nurturing the Personal Development Planning (PDP) ensures a continuous trajectory towards my personal and professional growth. It allows me to build strengths, as well as develop areas where I have capability gaps, thereby ensuring that my skills and knowledge remain up-to-date.

CPD is the responsibility of everyone. If we work within an organization, there is a shared responsibility between managers to empower and support their staff to develop. If we work independently or are employed directly by the people using a service, then CPD is our responsibility!!!!
