My Study Table!!!!

As a first-semester student, I find it challenging to understand the concept of critical thinking. Critical thinking is a fundamental skill that involves clear, reasonable, and reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do. It requires asking probing questions, being skeptical, and challenging assumptions rather than simply memorizing facts or blindly accepting information. I have realized that critical thinking is important because it relates to nearly all tasks, situations, topics, careers, environments, challenges, and opportunities. It’s not restricted to a particular subject area, and it is a discipline-general thinking skill. I have also learned that critical thinking is fundamentally a process of questioning information and data, and it is crucial for making informed decisions, analyzing information, and solving problems. Despite the difficulties, I understand that critical thinking skills can be developed and enhanced through practice and engagement in various academic activities. I am committed to improving my critical thinking skills as I recognize their significance for my academic success and personal growth.

My first semester was a mixture of enthusiasm and trepidation. I was excited to start attending classes in my chosen subject of study. I was motivated to perform well because the issues were novel and fascinating. I actively participated in class discussions, struggling with time management and developed positive relationships with both my teachers and fellow students.
I perform a SWOT analysis after the second semester to evaluate my development and the difficulties I faced while pursuing my academic goals.
