After finishing my GCSEs and A levels, I was certain I wanted to pursue higher education. During my A-level studies, I developed a strong interest in Sociology, which inspired me to continue exploring the subject at university.
I earned A-levels in English Language and Literature (A), Sociology (B) and History (D), this sparked my interest further in understanding human behaviour, social structures and the factors that shape individual and group actions. English Language and Literature increased my ability to analyse texts and communication; History deepened my understanding of changes in society and historical contexts. Sociology in particular gave me insight into the complexity of social systems and human interactions. These subjects combined fuelled my desire to pursue ba degree in Sociology and Criminology.
