Today is World AIDS Day, a day of commemoration, awareness, and support for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS around the world. World AIDS Day arrives with the resonating theme, “Let Communities Lead.” It is a call to local communities to become more involved in the battle against HIV/AIDS. Today, we recognise the persistent efforts of community-driven projects, emphasising the critical role they play in prevention, treatment and support networks. We honour diverse voices, encourage education and ensure access to healthcare by encouraging diversity and grassroots engagement. This theme symbolises the strength found within communities, challenging us to listen, learn and amplify their influence in building a world free of stigma and discrimination. Let us rally behind these communities and their leaders in order to achieve a healthier and more equitable future.#WorldAIDSDay #LetCommunitiesLead#
