E2-Create – Encoding Embodied Creativity for Computational Art
E2-Create combines scientific and artistic research for the purpose of analysing, abstracting, and transforming principles of embodied creativity in dance into concepts and methods for creating computer-based art. The research is based on the premise that a deepened understanding of choreographic methods can inform novel creative approaches in other artistic domains. The project places a strong focus on the combination of software development and artistic creation both of which are informed by recent progress in dance digitisation, machine learning, and generative art.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 840465
