The research project “Generative Dance – A Taxonomy” has been presented at the conference MOCO 2022.
The premiering of the piece “Embodied Machine” was followed by an artist talk. The participants of the talk were Muriel Romero, Pablo Palacio, Daniel Bisig, Raquel Buj, and Gilles Jobin. The talk was moderated by Àngels Margarit.
The dance piece “Embodied Machine” was premiered at Mercat de les Flors. The show formed part of the expanded ISEA2022 schedule.
The research project Puppeteering AI has been presented at the CHI 2022 conference during the workshop on Generative AI and HCI.
A talk entitled “Movement Qualities for Digital Art – From Interviews to Computer Simulation” has been given at CSM (Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling, Coventry University).
The research project Expressive Aliens has been presented at the conference EvoMusArt 2022.
To conclude the technical residency at Cie Gilles Jobin, Instituto Stocos presented some experiments using live motion capture, machine learning, and movement sonification. The audience consisted of creative directors for cultural venues and festivals, city officials related to cultural funding, and members of the Gilles Jobin dance company
Several participants of the Choreographic Coding Lab Berlin presented their outcomes to organisers and participants of all the other Kollisionen Workshops that took place at UDK Berlin.
